Unless you live under and rock and don't watch the news you may have seen the coverage of Pfizer giving away Lipitor and Viagra to the jobless. Today it was announced that Pfizer Inc would give people who have lost their jobs and health insurance free prescriptions to any Pfizer medicine that they have been taking for at least 3 months. Well if you look at the previous sentence you will notice a major difference between them. One speaks of Lipitor and Viagra which are sexual impotence drugs. The following sentence talked about free prescriptions to people who need them to survive. This is where the perversion of the American Media comes up. How come out of all the medicine that Pfizer makes to save lives and help people have a better way of living. The media chose to pinpoint the two drugs which have a sexual nature. I know the media's ratings games is to cover whatever gets you the most viewership but also there comes a time when you must say enough is enough. Every story they cover has a spin applied to it to either put fear in us or to hit some deep core we keep hidden. I can see it now. Tomorrow the story will be "Will Viagra and Lipitor reach the hands of Child Molesters?" It's time for the media, the government and businesses to stop playing on the emotions of the American People. Keep your minds and eyes open and look for the Perversion of the American Media.
